Darlycha is an intelligent little girl who her mother describes as “very adaptive and receptive.” At her young age, she already exhibits a sense of humor, and she is sensitive enough to be conscious of sharing with other kids. She lives with her parents and two older siblings, and she loves anything creative including dancing, music, drawing, and coloring. Even though her father is a police officer, he earns very little, and her mother is unemployed. This makes it very difficult for them to pay for her school, but now though the Thrive Ansanm program she doesn’t have to worry about whether she will go to school.
