Kimberline has been a part of our program for a few years now, and she is in her senior year at the University of Port-au-Prince. She deeply believes in the power of education because she views it as the key to her future and her hope to become who she is supposed to be. She says that she is a young person who believes that Haiti can change, and she knows that education will help her to be a part of this change. She lives with her mother and little brother in a neighborhood where there is much unemployment and food is often a luxury, so she does not take the opportunity that she has been given lightly. Now, through the support of generous donors, she will be graduating this fall, and she is currently studying for her government exam so that she can get her accounting license.
