Kitchna is one of six children in her family, and neither of her parents has a consistent income, so she never would have been able to get her college education without financial aid. After graduating from high school, she was forced to stay home for a couple of years even though she wanted to go to college, but through the generous support of Thrive Ansanm donors, she is now in her senior year studying business administration at Lumiere University in Carrefour. She will be the first person in her family to graduate from college, so this is a big step forward for her and her family. She is looking for job opportunities, but she is also interested in using the skills she has gained through her studies to start her own business. She is a caring person who desires to one day help children facing some of the same challenges she has faced in her life.
