Peter lives with his mother and 5 siblings in a very poor neighborhood in the Carrefour district of Port-au-Prince. Ever since his family lost their home in the 2010 Earthquake, they have lived in extreme poverty, struggling to survive. Neither of his parents are employed, so they could never afford to send Peter to school, so we accepted him into the program in 2020, and through the support of generous donors, we were able to build his family a home and keep him in school. Thus, despite his difficult circumstances, he has hope for a brighter future.
