Wildere, an only child, says that from the time he was in the womb, he’s been confronted with difficulties, but he’s still grateful for his life. Living with his parents in Jeremie, he graduated from high school in 2023. His father, the family’s main provider, makes mattresses for a living, and Wildère often helps him with this work. Wildère is now studying computer engineering at the University of the Renaissance in Jeremie. His dream is to create a nationwide phone network for Haiti. As he puts it, “Without this program, my dreams wouldn’t be realized, and if I don’t realize my dreams, I won’t be able to help my family.”
